Will the characters actually look like us?

The photographs you submit are used as visual references so our illustrated characters are recognisable as your family — the same hair, the same smile, the same little details your child would notice. They are stylised storybook illustrations rather than photographs, so think 'lovingly drawn portrait' rather than an exact likeness.

Can I include more than one child?

Today each book is built around one hero child plus the family members and pets joining their adventure. Expanded family options, including multiple hero children and larger casts, are planned.

Is this a real printed book?

Yes. The finished product is intended to be a professionally printed hardcover book, delivered to your door, with a digital copy included. Printing and fulfilment are being set up as part of our next development phase.

What happens to our photos?

Reference photographs are uploaded straight into private storage in a folder that belongs to your account. They are never given a public link, they are only ever shown through short-lived expiring links, and they are used for one thing: illustrating your book. Source photographs are deleted automatically within 30 days of a book being finished or abandoned, and you can delete individual photos — or your entire account and everything in it — whenever you like.

How much does a book cost, and when am I charged?

A personalized hardcover is $49.99, including the digital copy. Checkout is not connected during early access, so nothing is charged today and creating a book places you under no obligation.

Which adventures can I create right now?

Accepted Answer

Dragon Kingdom is fully produced and can be created today. The other worlds are illustrated and ready to choose, but their stories are still being written — you can save your choice now and we'll let you know the moment they open.

Can I see the book before it is printed?

That's the plan. The production experience will send you a full digital proof to review and approve before the physical book enters production.
